“INNOVATIONS, SUSTAINABILITY, SURVEILLANCE AND DEVELOPMENT FOR SMART CITIES”

Acknowledging the great importance of the 'Smart Cities' initiative by the Indian Government, Bharat Exhibitions is pleased to organize its flagship event on Smart Cities, 8th edition of Smart Cities & Intelligent Mobility India 2022 scheduled on 5th August 2022 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi. With the theme - "INNOVATIONS, SUSTAINABILITY, SURVEILLANCE AND DEVELOPMENT FOR SMART CITIES”. This forum will trace the importance of various aspects of infrastructure that needs to be planned, designed, built and operated in order to provide the 'Smart' attribute to a city development, i.e Integrated Command Control Centers (ICCCs), Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS), Traffic Management and Information Control Centre (TMICC), Smart Governance, Surveillance, network and communication Systems, AI, IoT, Innovative In-Building Solutions etc. It is going to bring together global thought leaders to explore the intersection of technology (Smart Mobility, Internet of Things, M2M, Cloud, Artificial intelligence, Renewable energy, Big data, etc), innovation, OSS/BSS, smart cities, skills, regional collaboration and education.

It is believed that by 2050, about 70% of the population of India would be living in cities. With this population shift, the need of the hour is Smart Cities that would support urban lifestyles. Cities that ensure optimal living conditions and benefits to everyone in the society. Cities, where economic development is sustainable and rationally incremental. Smart cities are providing a new way of living and working and increasingly relying on the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected devices to offer services to citizens. It helps cities mobilize infrastructure and processes which are smart solutions in alignment with the city’s vision. It further allows a city to manage its assets and monitor city life and also support cities measure and optimize management.

. Keeping in tune with the event’s second segment, i.e. intelligent mobility, which is also considered one of the core subjects of any smart city. It involves optimizing transport and communications in order to consolidate new standards of sustainability, efficiency, safety and air quality with reduction of co2 emissions. Vehicle-to-infrastructure (v2i) connectivity with the use of ultrasonic, radar, and camera technologies would communicate information in real time to drivers and commuters on networks helping avoid dangerous activity before drivers are visually aware.
