Inspired by the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the objectives of the Digital India Mission, the Bharat Digital Fraud Prevention Summit 2026 aims to support the creation of a Trusted Digital India, where citizens, businesses, and institutions can operate with confidence in a secure, resilient, and transparent digital ecosystem.
The Bharat Digital Fraud Prevention Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on 17th September 2026 at Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi, centered around the theme “Securing India’s Digital Future — Sovereignty, Trust & Safety,” aims to foster a national collaborative framework that brings together government agencies, regulators, law enforcement authorities, financial institutions, technology providers, telecom operators, digital platforms, and industry stakeholders to combat digital fraud, cybercrime, identity theft, financial scams, and emerging online threats. The summit will also promote the development and adoption of Made-in-India Trust & Safety technologies, AI-powered fraud prevention and detection systems, digital risk intelligence platforms, and cybersecurity innovations to strengthen consumer protection, enhance digital trust, and support the creation of a secure, resilient, and fraud-free digital economy for India.
As India rapidly expands its digital public infrastructure and accelerates adoption of digital payments, e-governance, AI, cloud services, telecom connectivity, and digital commerce, ensuring trust, safety, and cyber resilience has become a national priority. The increasing sophistication of fraud ecosystems, identity misuse, deepfakes, phishing attacks, financial fraud, and AI-enabled cyber threats demands stronger collaboration between public and private stakeholders to build secure and future-ready digital frameworks.
The summit will provide a high-level platform to discuss national policies, regulatory frameworks, emerging fraud trends, cyber intelligence, responsible AI adoption, digital identity protection, consumer awareness, telecom and financial security, and next-generation trust architectures. Participants will gain insights into actionable strategies for strengthening digital resilience while enabling innovation and economic growth.
Furthermore, the summit will serve as a strategic platform to position India as a global leader in AI-driven fraud prevention, digital trust, brand protection, cyber resilience, and digital risk management, while contributing to the development of international best practices and standards for Digital Trust, Online Safety, Data Protection, Cyber Governance, and Digital Sovereignty.
With participation from senior government officials, regulators, law enforcement agencies, banking and fintech leaders, telecom operators, cybersecurity experts, technology innovators, and global digital platforms, the summit will create meaningful opportunities for knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships, and collaborative action to safeguard India’s digital future.
