India’s prowess in technological innovation positions it as a key player in the 6G era.

India's Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has released the Bharat 6G Mission manifesto, which aims to position India as a leading supplier of advanced telecom technologies.

WELCOME TO BHARAT 6G 2025

India has made significant progress in the telecommunications sector, especially with the successful adoption and deployment of 5G technology. By March 2024, the country had established over 4,35,000 5G base stations nationwide, demonstrating its rapid advancement in next-generation connectivity. This achievement has strengthened India’s position as a leader in 5G telecommunications and set a strong foundation for its venture into 6G technology. India's bold and ambitious goal, the Bharat 6G Vision, involves research, development, and collaborations to position India as a leader in 6G telecommunications technology. The aim is for 6G to provide significantly enhanced connectivity speeds and capabilities compared to current networks when it becomes available in the future. The government launched the Bharat 6G Alliance, a network of stakeholders driving research and development. The vision is to create a nine-year mission (from 2022 to 2031) to fund 6G in three phases, and lead to field trials and global standard contributions in the years to come. Hon’ble Prime Minister has released India’s 6G vision “Bharat 6G Vision” document on March 23, 2023 which envisaged India to be a frontline contributor in design, development and deployment of 6G technologies by 2030. Bharat 6G Vision is based on principles of affordability, sustainability and ubiquity. 6G aims to revolutionize communication by incorporating Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), Native AI, and Non Terrestrial Networks (NTN) to achieve the International TeleCommunication Union (ITU) 2030 vision.

While 5G has ushered in a new era of connectivity, the impending arrival of 6G promises to redefine the boundaries of what's possible. The potential impact of 6G is significant, as it has the power to reshape human interactions, machine communications, and data interactions. The integration of AI/ML and exploration of quantum technologies will be crucial in driving innovation in sectors like education, agriculture, and healthcare. The establishment of a seamless integrated optical and wireless network, with a focus on rural areas, is necessary. India's proactive measures in the development of 6G technologies will position the country as a global leader in the field. Next Gen 6G networks will facilitate a future proof compute infrastructure for communication service providers, allowing to them to host multi channel networks, with sustainability and security, thereby radically transforming the digital landscape. The transformative potential of next gen networks, extends beyond tech advancements, and surpass the potential to bridge the digital divide, bringing connectivity and opportunities to underserved populations. Keeping in mind Indian Government initiative on 6G, Bharat Exhibitions is pleased to present the 3rd edition of Bharat 6G 2025 International Conference & Exhibition scheduled on 14th May 2025 at Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi.
