"VISION OF FTTH IN INDIA: PROVIDING NEXT GENERATION NATION-WIDE BROADBAND NETWORK FOR IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ICT CONNECTIVITY"

Prime Minister laid out the vision in August 2020, to connect every village in the country with Optical Fibre Cables in 1,000 days. To achieve this vision, the cables would have to be laid at nearly 3.6 times the current speed, up from the existing average of 350 kilometer a day to over 1,251 kilometer a day. The FTTH connections in India grew from 0.7 million in 2014 to 4 million in 2020, and it is forecast to reach 10 million by 2025. Acknowledging the great importance of Fiberisation to enable high-quality ‘Broadband for All’ initiative by the Indian Government, Bharat Exhibitions is pleased to presents the 4th successive edition of FTTH India Virtual Summit 2021 scheduled to take place on 8th April 2021 at 1030 to 1600 Hrs IST.
