Welcome Data Centre India 2020...

After the success of 2019, Bharat Exhibitions is pleased to presents the 7th edition of their industry flagship event – Data Centre India 2020 Virtual Conference scheduled to take place on 17th December 2020 at 1030 hrs to 1300 hrs IST. The conference will be a dynamic forum for senior executives of leading enterprises to understand and formulate strategies to enhance their data center infrastructure in line with business needs. The data centre infrastructure spending in India is expected to touch $2.8 billion, with an year over year decline of 14.4 per cent in 2020 and an estimated single digit growth in 2021.

Covid-19 has accelerated the transition towards Hybrid Cloud as more Indian enterprises are experiencing the benefit of public cloud during this pandemic. The demand for data center and cloud solutions was already on the rise due to data localisation, and it has further increased exponentially during the pandemic. Working from home has accelerated the demand for Software as a Service (SaaS), which is driving tremendous traffic to data centers. The industry revenues are expected to increase to over $50 billion per year by 2023 due to the rise in cloud adoption and data center services by many companies. Development of next-generation data centers includes moving to edge computing, enabling AI to innovate and automate processes, and integrating SDDC (Software-Defined Data Center) to access and manage tasks from a remote location. Amid the Covid-19 crisis, global corporate giants and prominent investors are focused on the rising potential market for digital infrastructure.

With the theme – "The DC of Tomorrow: Hyper converged & Virtualized Network Functions” this forum will trace the importance of various aspects of Next generation data centers and Virtual Cloud based Data Center. Next-gen data center networks focus more on software-centric controls (SDN). Key success factors for building next-gen data center networks include modularization and standardization of the fabric, ensuring support for virtualization and containers, adding programmability and automation as well as ensuring visibility to facilitate troubleshooting. Data centers are evolving with the shift toward virtualization. As organizations seek to take advantage of the cloud to manage day-to-day business operations, many are wondering what sort of trends are taking shaping in modern-day data centers. A smart data center is needed to support the demands and application deployment models, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, platform-as-a-service, software-as-a-service, and other models on the verge of becoming mainstream.
